The Louisiana Department of Health is looking for a detail-driven professional to lead and coordinate our Human Resources Records Management program. Minimum Qualifications
Three years of experience in administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR
A bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Ensures the section's adherence to the approved Records Retention Schedule and coordinates with Legal, and the Secretary of State's Office if needed, on any proposed revisions.
Oversees and securely maintains a large file system, including creating folders for new records, and filing official records timely.
Responds to subpoenas for personnel records by reproducing pertinent records, preparing transmittal correspondence, and ensuring timely delivery to requesting party.
Verifies employment information and work history data on LDH employees as requested by other employers, financial institutions, and local, state and federal agencies by accessing employee records, completing necessary forms/paperwork, and forwarding to appropriate entity.
