Electrical Engineer - Water/Wastewater Infrastructure (Mid-Level)

Costa Mesa, CA | Hybrid | Full-Time | \$85,000-\$120,000 DOE

Are you passionate about designing critical infrastructure that supports clean water and sustainable communities? We're seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to join a nationally recognized team focused on water and wastewater treatment facilities.

What You'll Do

Lead and support detailed electrical power systems design for municipal water and wastewater treatment plants.

Perform load calculations, conduit routing, motor control center and switchgear design, and generate technical specifications.

Conduct field investigations and support startup activities.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and interface with clients to deliver high-quality, code-compliant solutions.

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).

6-12 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in water/wastewater or related infrastructure.

PE license (or in the process of obtaining).

Proficiency in power system applications: short circuit current, voltage drop, harmonic distortion, and power factor.

Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 820, NESC, and IEEE Color Book Series.

Strong communication skills and a collaborative, self-starting mindset.

Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Nice to Have

Experience with electrical design tools (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).

Knowledge of municipal water reuse, fire protection, and electrical safety standards.

Exposure to commissioning, field startup, and control systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $145000.00/yr.
