Special Project Associate

Our Client, a Business Manufacturing and Supply company, is looking for a Special Project Associate for their Wilmington, NC location. Responsibilities:

Initiate experiment starts in all plant areas

Coordinate runs with operations

Perform small equipment modification

Experiment setup and run execution

Manage experimental ware flow for multiple PPD projects

Support experimental downtime work as applicable

Coordinate specialized measurements on canes, fiber, or blanks

Assist with shipments of samples, canes, or blanks

Requirements:

Ability to load, unload, and transport blanks on carts

Attention to detail

Ability to have flexibility in work assignments

Self motivated, proactive, and self directed

Computer proficiency (Excel, Outlook, Word)

Good written and verbal communication skills

Desired skills:

Team player and able to work with a broad range of people

Understands and follows Corning safety policies

Skilled in Corning equipment operation

Interested in development and experimentation

Enjoys change and willing to share ideas.
