DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer II to join our team, specializing in Sales Architecture for the Corporate Unit in Indianapolis, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Deliver innovative software solutions by analyzing user needs, system flows, and work processes to design tools that solve real business problems.

Ensure clarity and usability by documenting solutions through flowcharts, layouts, and technical specifications that support seamless implementation.

Drive informed decision-making by evaluating feasibility through a thorough analysis of requirements, challenges, and proposed solutions.

Bridge business and technology by understanding operational needs and translating them into effective, scalable software tools.

Promote technical excellence by recommending modern development tools and techniques while staying engaged with industry trends and communities.

Safeguard digital assets by maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all development processes and data handling practices.

Enhance system performance by conducting in-depth systems analysis and recommending policy or procedural improvements.

Foster agile innovation by applying architectural knowledge, supporting built-in quality, and encouraging decentralized, adaptive decision-making.

Ensure compliance and quality by modeling solutions that meet business, technical, and regulatory standards while fostering team agility and continuous improvement. Education, Licenses, Certifications: College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience: Experience working as a software engineer with the following knowledge and experiences are preferred: - Working in Agile environments; - Fundamental IT technical skill sets; - Taking a system from coping requirements through actual launch of the system; - Communicating with users, other technical teams and management to collect requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates and meet production deadlines; - Professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Proficiency in one or more technology areas - Oracle ERP, SAP, AWS Cloud services, Salesforce platform, RPA tools

Experience with DevOps practices, including scripting, automation of build, deployment, testing, and release management

Working knowledge of cloud computing architectures, system integrations, API development, and data mapping is strongly preferred

Experience working in Agile and Scrum methodologies, including participation in sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and iterative delivery cycles to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with business goals

Experience in Sales/Finance/Supply Chain domains is preferred

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
