Join an Employee Resource Group, participate in an international lunch, or celebrate your heritage to find your place of belonging.- Find Your Future - Whether you are interested in the opportunity to work seasonally or looking to launch your career, GEODIS is the place!\Eligibility varies based on location, job, employee @type, or length of service.What you will be doing:- Install HVAC systems and components, following blueprints and manufacturer specifications.- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation and prevent breakdowns.- Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues, including electrical and mechanical malfunctions.- Communicate effectively with customers to explain system issues and recommend solutions. * Maintain accurate records of services performed, including work orders and maintenance logs.- Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards to ensure a safe work environment.- Other duties as required and assignedRequirements- Technical or vocational training in HVAC systems (preferred).- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an HVAC technician or in a related field.- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and operations.- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, meters, and gauges.- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.- Good communication and customer service skills.- Physical ability to perform manual work, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
