rRESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for the production of
visual solutions for websites and web applications using HTML, CSS, PHP,
mySQL and Javascript/jQuery developed within Web Services for various
University departments and units. The position involves a great deal of
creativity, initiative and high level of judgment when demonstrating
skills in web user interface design and responsive design.
WORK LOCATION: Macomb campus
APPOINTMENT: As soon as possible
MONTHLY WAGE: \$4,206 - \$4,626 (anticipated starting wage \$4,206)

Job Requirements:

Any one or any combination totaling two (2) years (24 months) from
the following categories:
a. College coursework which includes Information Technology (IT), IT
Management, Programming, IT systems, or a closely related discipline, as
measured by the following conversion table or its proportional
equivalent:
*30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
*Associate\'s Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18
months)
*90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
*Bachelor\'s Degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36
months)
b. Work experience in IT-related functions, such as hardware/software
support, programming, network design, network engineering, IT systems
integration, or closely related field.

Five (5) years of Professional Experience in Graphic Design or
related field with experience in:
a. Proficient in Adobe Photoshop CC 2017 or higher
b. Advanced knowledge of design and design techniques, such as page
layout, color theory, and typography, in the area of Web Development
c. Demonstrable knowledge of User Interface Design and Responsive
Design concepts

Five (5) years work experience in website development using and
writing XHTML, CSS and Javascript/jQuery.

Two (2) years work experience with PHP and mySQL.

Knowledge of the WC3 guidelines and Illinois Information Technology
Accessibility Act (IITAA).
For a degree to be considered, it must be conferred from a regionally
accredited degree-granting institution of higher education (orequivalent from an international accrediting body). The degree must be
