Job Title: Facility Plumber

Job Description

Join our team as a Facility Plumber where you will be responsible for service work and repairs on plumbing equipment at a designated building within the GM Tech Center in Warren. This role requires troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, followed by the necessary repairs. The position involves working on rooftops and within the facility, including tasks that require climbing ladders and using lifts. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Perform service work and repairs on plumbing equipment.

Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues, making necessary repairs.

Work on rooftops and within the facility, requiring climbing ladders and using lifts.

Install new parts, including PVC, copper pipes, toilets, fixtures, water heaters, and chillers.

Conduct preventive maintenance and repair tasks using blueprints.

Essential Skills

Commercial or Industrial Plumbing Service Experience.

State Certified Journeyman card holder or proof of 8 years of experience.

Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose leaks and pressure problems.

Competence in installing new plumbing parts such as PVC and copper pipes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Backflow certifications are a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80080.00 - $80080.00/yr.
