As a Security Officer - Defense Site Patrol - Overnight Site in Whitehall, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your primary duties will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any concerns or situations that arise. You will be expected to provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, representing Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Mon10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Tue10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Wed10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Thur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Fri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while on location.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or breaches.

Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to site protocols.

Support site operations by maintaining a visible presence throughout the location, particularly in areas relevant to the aerospace and defense environment.

Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and/or incidents as they arise.

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
