This position will be part of MNIT's Human and Social Digital Services (HSDS) team, which supports agency teams at these state agencies: Department of Human Services (DHS), MNsure, the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF), and Direct Care and Treatment (DCT). The MNIT HSDS team combines development and IT operations with a DevOps approach to ensure the reliable and efficient delivery of critical technology systems that serve counties, families, and individuals across Minnesota.
As a Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will provide supervision of the DevOps unit in performance of successful and efficient DevOps management; and ensure that MNIT's mission, vision and values are followed with emphasis on accessibility and data management specialty testing. This position provides direction and development for staff working on all DHS/MNsure, DCYF and DCT systems, all systems in Integrated Human Services Delivery Framework, as well as several other systems that support the work of HSDS, DHS/MNsure, DCYF and DCT. This position also acts as a strategic resource for MNIT management.
This position requires an employee to be onsite at 540 Cedar Street, St. Paul, Minnesota at least 50% of the time, with some opportunity to perform work from a telework location. Minimum Qualifications

Position requires a minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in software or product QA/testing and accessibility testing.
Experience must include:
Demonstrated experience working in Agile, Scrum, or DevOps environments.
Proven ability to understand and champion quality assurance best practices.
Skill with accessibility testing process/validation.
Skill with data management testing process/validation.
Ability to deliver effective verbal or written messages that facilitate a mutual understanding on both parties.
Customer service skills that include active listening, empathy, and problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Lead work or supervisory experience.
1-2+ years working with Cloud data or integration (Azure, AWS, Oracle etc).
Strong understanding of assistive technology tools, such as screen readers, color contrast, etc.
Defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., IBM's Collaborative Lifecycle Management, Team Foundation Server, etc.).
Knowledge of scripting or programming languages (optional but a plus): Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.
Familiarity with automation tools.
Familiarity with Section 508 / WCAG accessibility guidelines.
Ability to design and implement QA strategies and test plans.
Create and manage KPIs and QA metrics.
Coordinate with business analysts, developers, product managers, scrum masters, and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with company and industry quality standards.
