The GE Aerospace facility in Madisonville, KY produces a mix of more than 800 unique High Pressure Turbine Blades and Nozzles in support of 37 aircraft engine programs.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Maintain high floor presence with hourly to coach, teach, and mentor in processes

Responsible for CNC machines projects pertaining to subject matter of grind, EDM, milling, and drilling

In charge of technical plans for hardware machining and flow

Engage in Lean events

Gain knowledge of processes thru identifiable trainings pertaining to subject matter expertise

Execute policy/strategy

Integrate with other teams and contribute to the area

Resolve issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures

Consult more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university ( or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of Manufacturing experience)

Desired Characteristics:

Blueprint reading experience

Experience with control @types such as Fanuc, Haas, and Siemens
