About this Job
LSU Health New Orleans Division of Auxiliary Enterprises is seeking motivated applicants for the position of Administrative Coordinator 1, 2, 3, or 4. This position is part of a Career Progression Group.
As part of a Career Progression Group, vacancies may be filled from this recruitment as a (Administrative Coordinator 1, 2, 3, or 4) depending on the level of experience of the selected applicant(s). Following Policies and Procedures: The ability to comply with policies and procedures of the organization as well as State Civil Service rules, and all applicable federal and state laws.
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Monitor and fulfill phone, email and online orders
Serve as the point of contact for questions related to ordering and inventory
Assist customers with order pick-ups and arrange for shipment, if necessary
Ensures proper stock of uniforms and lab coats for the School of Nursing and Medicine including ordering for specific events and/or ceremonies.
Monitor stock levels of all non-book merchandise.
Execute terms of purchase agreements with outside vendors and monitor performance to ensure compliance with the terms of financial transactions between vendors and LSUHSC, including inputting and maintaining requisitions to create purchase orders.
Serve as a back-up to all managers in the opening and closing of the bookstore
Monitor the storage of cash and distribution of change
Rate of pay is dependent upon applicants' qualifications. There is an additional $1 Longevity Pay for hours worked only.

This is a Civil Service Position.
Pre-employment Drug testing and Criminal Background check are required.
This position will require selected applicant to be in a probationary status for at least 6 months.
