Senior Accountant

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Juno Beach, Florida. This role requires a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual with expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls, ensuring the integrity of corporate financial data. You will take a leadership role in analyzing complex issues, offering recommendations, and implementing solutions while guiding other team members.

Responsibilities:

Lead research, analysis, and reporting on financial matters, providing actionable recommendations and implementing solutions.

Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards and company policies while maintaining adherence to relevant regulations.

Prepare accurate financial reports and schedules to reflect the company's financial health in a timely manner.

Develop and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all accounts.

Implement and maintain internal controls to uphold the integrity of corporate financial data.

Oversee special projects, including the validation and execution of plans related to business units and expense accounts.

Provide mentorship and direction to team members, fostering collaboration and growth.

Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure seamless onboarding and adherence to financial procedures.

Perform ad hoc financial analyses to support business decision-making and operational improvements.

Communicate effectively with internal and external parties to address inquiries and ensure clarity in financial matters. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience with a focus on attention to detail.

Strong understanding of GAAP standards and corporate financial practices.

Proven ability to prepare accurate financial reports and journal entries independently.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Experience with internal controls and compliance procedures.

CPA certification or Master's degree in Accounting is highly preferred.

Demonstrated ability to lead projects and collaborate with diverse teams.
