Outreach and Communications Coordinator

JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Coordinates and manages agency outreach events.

Manage For All Seasons participation at community events and community meetings within the five counties to raise awareness of our organization and the services offered to primary and secondary victims of crime.

Cultivate community relationships to promote For All Seasons and our services.

Inventory and manage branded items for outreach, partnership, and fundraising purposes.

Coordinate materials for agency presentations.

Identify and help coordinate speaking opportunities.

Support social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn with the goal to raise awareness of the issues leading to victims of crime, and For All Seasons, Inc. services available.

Identify new social media channels to reach new audiences and tell our story.

Website support and editing.

Support in the creation of agency flyers and graphics.

Assist in building a positive team of staff and volunteers who will attend outreach and community partner events.

Assists with establishing and maintaining a positive working relationship with leadership and team.

Utilize culturally sensitive approaches to meet the diverse needs of clients.

Possess and apply time management skills.

Ability and willingness to travel as assigned.

Carry out other responsibilities as assigned.

DEPENDABILITY- Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner with little supervision. Accept responsibility when necessary to see that the job gets done.

ATTENDANCE AND PUNCTUALITY- Prompt and on time for work, assignments and meetings. Notify supervisor prior to lateness or absence. Understand that excess absences pose a hardship on other employees.

QUANTITY AND QUALITY OF WORK - Care about the quality and accuracy of work being produced. Accept responsibility for completing job tasks. Use time productively and efficiently.

ATTITUDE - Demonstrate a cooperative, positive, and enthusiastic attitude toward fellow employees, clients and visitors. Maintain a positive attitude in carrying out assignments and is helpful and courteous to fellow employees.

CONFIDENTIALITY- Follow all HIPAA compliance and confidentiality policies and procedures in all areas of work in accordance with FAS policies and applicable laws.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS- Effective written and oral expression. Demonstrate proper telephone etiquette and able to communicate professionally with all callers. Relate to staff and visitors in a respectful and professional manner.

CONDUCT - Conduct self in a manner consistent with the agency principles or applicable code of ethics. Show professionalism in all work settings. Should not participate in, condone, or be associated with dishonesty, fraud, or deception.

FLEXIBILITY / HANDLING EMERGENCIES - Respond in a positive manner to changing situations or routines. Ability to manage self and maintain a calm environment in crises situations.

REPRESENTATION- Promote a positive image for the agency through dress, demeanor, and interaction with clients, staff, and the general public.

QUALIFICATIONS -

Minimum of an Associates Degree required; Bachelors Degree preferred.

Minimum of 2 years previous experience related to marketing.

Experience with community engagement/outreach and/or volunteer management.

Proficiency with major social media platforms' ' Work Remotely

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
