Job Title: VDC/BIM Coordinator

Job Description

Provide detailing and design support for VDC/BIM models of HVAC systems. Coordinate across MEP contractors and departments to come up with effective and practical designs for build purposes. Review and redline drawings and make revisions based on the building specifications.

Responsibilities

Work with Engineers and the VDC team to effectively coordinate drawings and plans for the fab shop.

Design and detail BIM drawings.

Assist in field measurements.

Utilize Revit and AutoCad for fabrication design and BIM modeling.

Required Skills

Associates or Bachelors degree in Computer Background or related field.

2+ years of BIM/VDC modeling experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with HVAC systems.

Familiarity with Revit, AutoCad, and BIM design.

Background in Fabrication and Mechanical Engineering.

Work Environment

This role involves computer design work at a desk, with some field work to perform measurements. The position offers an engaging work environment with opportunities to work on projects such as hospitals, natural history museums, and historical buildings. Support and training are available for entry-level candidates.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chardon, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $38.00/hr.
