Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Rochester, New York. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations by managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring all invoices are accurately recorded and paid on time.

Manage accounts receivable activities, including generating invoices and tracking payments.

Utilize QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records and perform data entry tasks.

Verify and reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Handle invoice processing efficiently and resolve any discrepancies or issues.

Assist with preparing financial reports and maintaining documentation for audits.

Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and workflows.

Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and correspondence.

Provide support for other administrative and accounting tasks as required. Requirements - Proven experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.

Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.

Familiarity with invoice processing and reconciliation.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Strong communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
