Summary You will serve as a Electronics Measurement Equipment Mechanic Leader in the Production Resources Department, Electrical Shop (Code 950) Pearl Harbor Naval Ship Yard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF), Pearl Harbor, Hi Responsibilities You will be responsible to the supervisor for providing on-the-job technical guidance and leadership to a work group of employees working on a major project. You will instruct subordinates on any unusual work steps or requirements and explains directives and instructions received from higher supervisory levels. You will assign, pass on instructions to the work group, lead in laying out group work, and perform the more difficult tasks. You will keep the supervisor informed of progress, operating problems, causes of delays, etc. You will review assigned Job orders, plans and specification, and pass on instructions and take the lead in laying out work assignments. You will provide on-the-job training for new employees. You will resolve any problem that may arise such as ambiguous aspects of the JO/JIC specifications and plans.
