Job Title: Warehouse Helper

Job Description

Assist delivery drivers by transporting grocery orders on foot in designated areas. This role is physically demanding and requires working in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Transport grocery orders on foot in designated areas.

Assist delivery drivers in the delivery process.

Utilize RF scanners for order picking and packing.

Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods.

Maintain communication with the delivery team.

Essential Skills

Proficiency with warehouse pick/pack operations.

Experience using RF scanners.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain physical stamina.

Excellent customer service skills.

Proficiency in smartphone usage.

Effective route navigation and decision-making skills.

Strong communication skills in English.

Familiarity with NYC streets and scanning technology.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.

Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts.

Independent decision-making and prioritization skills.

Willingness to complete training.

Knowledge of basic smartphone operations and two-way communication.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bronx, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
