The purpose of this internship is to prepare college students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization. The program is designed to provide you with a full experience so that you can fully envision a career with Zebra. Responsibilities:
As a Software Engineering Intern at Zebra Technologies, you will be involved in researching, developing and deploying cutting-edge AI and ML solutions. You will work on integrating these technologies into Android and cloud applications and utilize AI to enhance our solutions. This role offers valuable hands on experience and an opportunity to contribute to impactful projects within a collaborative environment.

THIS IS A HYBRID INTERNSHIP LOCATED IN HOLTSVILLE, NY. THE EXPECTATION IS AT LEAST 3 DAYS OF IN-OFFICE ATTENDANCE.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Current enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate degree program in Computer Engineering or AI/ML
Must have an anticipated graduation date in 2026
Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
AI/ML Knowledge: Good understanding of AI/ML concepts
Programming Skills: Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, NodeJS, or Python
Strong Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and take initiative
Logical and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with a logical and analytical approach
Development Skills: Good knowledge of Android and/or cloud solutions development
Hands-on Projects: Experience with AI/ML projects or Android development
AI Tools: Experience with AI tools such as Google Vertex AI, OpenAI, or Azure AI

Salary: USD 32.00 - USD 44.00 Hourly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
