A career in Global R&D OTC Category where none of us stand still.
Help develop innovative Natural based products for the Global Market using the latest analytical technologies and techniques.
This lab-based role will be working on characterization of natural extracts being used for developing finished products at Haleon. This work would include using UHPLC with PDA and Mass Spectrometry detection to evaluate multiple botanical extracts being used in Herbal Medicinal Products.
You'll be active in the lab and working with a cross-functional team of analytical and formulation scientists.
The student will get real world experience working in a modern pharmaceutical R&D laboratory.
What will your individual contribution at Haleon be?
Train on and run ultra-high pressure liquid chromatography with PDA and Mass spectrometric detection (LC-PDA-MS) to develop methods to characterize and analyze Natural Extracts being used to develop Naturals based products for Global markets.
Learn how botanical extracts are quantitated in the finish product and why it's important to determine stable and selective markers for analyzing multiple extracts.
Document experiments in an Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) system.
Collaborate with Haleon R&D scientific subject matter experts to optimize methodology and naturals based finished product proto@types.

Education required:
The ideal candidate for this position will be pursuing a BS in Chemistry and entering their Senior year or have completed organic chemistry, analytical chemistry and ideally instrumental analysis.
Other requirements:
Must be eligible to work in the US at the time of, and for the duration of employment. Employees will be required to furnish evidence of US work authorization. Applicant must not require future sponsorship for an employment visa status.
