The Role at a Glance
As the Annuity Product State Filings Consultant, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our products meet compliance standards and are successfully filed across all relevant jurisdictions. You will serve as a key resource supporting product compliance and state filing outcomes for our annuity products.
What you'll be doing
Participates in Annuity product and filing requirement discussions with Internal Stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records of approval information so that approved products and forms are correctly issued and contract language is as mandated for all states.
Evaluate and answer questions in relation to the interpretation of contract provisions as requested by internal and external customers.
Advises and negotiates with internal and external Stakeholders to resolve issues relevant to securing approval and/or use of forms and/or rates, or to revise products or procedures for compliance with new laws.
Performs analysis and communicates recommended changes as a result of new and/or revised State and Federal laws and regulations affecting their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Reviews and/or implements policy print on related print systems for compliance.
May draft and/or file or oversee the drafting and/or filing of all applicable forms and/or applications by identifying and complying with complex regulatory requirements within their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Research, compiles and reviews complex state laws and regulations using appropriate databases, the internet and other resources.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

The pay range for this position is $69,000 - $124,600 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln's standard benefits package.
