Senior Full Stack Engineer

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on Team Chat and Chat Horizontals team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of workplace collaboration. You'll design and develop high-impact, scalable services and responsive, world-class user interfaces that power Zoom, used by millions globally. Collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams, you'll deliver high-quality products, contribute to architecture decisions, and mentor junior engineers to help them grow. Responsibilities

Partnering with product management to define product requirements and translate the roadmap into actionable features and deliverables.

Establishing and maintaining best-in-class engineering processes, coding standards, and best practices to ensure high-quality development.

Designing and developing responsive, best-in-class user interfaces across platforms using modern frontend technologies like React, Vue.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and CSS3.

Architecting and building robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot, ensuring secure and scalable systems on cloud infrastructure (AWS, microservices, RESTful APIs, NoSQL).

Leading cloud-based test automation and deployment strategies using AWS services (e.g., EC2, ECS, S3, ElasticCache) to optimize performance and platform reliability.

Creating metrics and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making for both technical and business stakeholders.

Triaging and resolving critical customer issues, collaborating with support teams to ensure seamless user experiences.

What we're looking for

Have bachelor's in Computer Science, or a related field (or foreign equivalent).

5+ years of experience building responsive user interfaces with React and JavaScript/TypeScript.

5+ years of experience with enterprise-level web applications, including frontend/backend systems, APIs, and SDKs using Spring MVC or Spring Boot.

Have expertise in Java programming language, including IO, concurrency, and multi-threaded programming.

Have experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a deep understanding of scalable and secure deployments.

Demonstrate experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.

Have expertise building and deploying tools like Webpack, Vite, maven, Gradle, Git, Jenkins etc.

Have experience with unit testing, automation, and AI-powered developer tools for productivity, debugging, or prototyping. Building agent workflows/features, working with Large language Models.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$98.900,00

Maximum:

$228.700,00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
