Major/Essential Functions:

Assist in the development of marketing and communication strategies and campaigns to promote information technology across TTU campus across the Texas Tech campus and beyond.

Work with a team to develop impactful methods to engage our campus community.

Collaborate with the central Marketing & Communications office and other team members on outreach campaigns, events and projects.

Perform administrative tasks related to marketing and communication as needed.

This position is expected to work for up to 20 hours per week as permitted by applicable policies.

This position requires a Level 2 Security Clearence (Background check and Drug/Alcohol screening).

Additional Required Qualification:

Will be enrolled as a student for at least two full semesters after starting the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional experience in marketing strategy and/or education or certifications in marketing, media and communications or communications.

Proficiency in social media platforms and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).

Advanced users of PowerPoint, and other Office suite software.
