Duties:
Under the supervision of the Data Batching Team Lead, support the overall objectives of Joni and Friends. Perform duties and responsibilities including, but not limited to:
Daily Scanning of Checks and Documentation
Scanning and organizing checks, related backup materials, and critical documentation
Maintaining accurate digital records and physical documentation, emphasizing attention to detail
Mail Sorting and Contribution Handling
Sorting incoming mail related to fundraising and contribution processing
Performing two-person verification for checks and reporting
Processing Financial Contributions
Entering contributions into Salesforce CRM for multiple sources, including but not limited to:
ACH
General
Organization-Received
Program Specific
Purchases
Organizing and batching data with a high level of accuracy
Constituent Data Maintenance
Updating Account and Contact records based on returned mail (USPS Nixies) and constituent-provided information
Making changes as noted by constituents or family members to ensure record accuracy
Other duties and projects as assigned by supervisor to support department and ministry needs
Qualifications:
Must possess a vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agree with the Joni and Friends statement of faith
Desire to serve in a growing and dynamic Christian service ministry
2+ years of experience in data entry, data processing, or CRM/database management
Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience (2+ years) in a data-related role acceptable
Demonstrated proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM system) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping
Ability to consistently handle repetitive tasks with precision and care
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time and priorities effectively
High level of discretion and professionalism; must maintain strict confidentiality of all constituent and financial information
Basic experience in reporting or data analysis is a plus (e.g., running standard reports, identifying data trends, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A team player with a collaborative spirit, who can also work independently with minimal supervision
Understanding of Christian ministry and specifically Joni and Friends is desirable
This position follows a hybrid schedule, requiring in-office presence on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Wednesday and Friday. During busy seasons or high-volume periods, the Analytics Specialist may be asked to work additional in-office days to assist with mail processing and contribution intake.
Compensation for this position is between $19.50 and $22.00 per hour. This is a non-exempt position.
