Summary You will serve as a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the FACILITIES MANAGEMENT DIVISION of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC. Responsibilities You will communicate daily with customer and coordinating all maintenance services for assigned facilities. You will screen all work requirements considering issues of safety, urgency, priority, health and security to maintain the facility. You will maintain budget oversite necessary to track estimates and expenditures necessary to keep budget execution in line. You will provide guidance to architect and engineering technicians in the development of more formal long-term projects and master planning. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of speacialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Coordinating all maintenance services for assigned facilities; 2) Providing engineering expertise on difficult or novel facility maintenance issues; 3) Maintaining budget oversight on facility services; and 4) Coordinating work between government forces and contractors to minimize delays that could result in excessive costs to the government.
