Responsibilities

The work schedule will be Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm EST / 7am - 4pm CST *

Primary position responsibilities:

Coding in Clintegrity of ICD-10-CM, CPT & HCPCS codes sequenced according to Medicare guidelines with applicable modifiers and revenue codes for each surgical episode.

Utilize the Automated Pending List to retrieve missing documents and reconcile to Clintegrity WL.

Answer center/physician questions

Provide coverage for teammates as needed.

Secondary position responsibilities:

Must maintain current coding credential and perform associated Continuing Education Units

Attend annual SCA Coding Seminar

Other assigned duties

Qualifications

Licenses or Certificates:

Must have at least 1 of the following: Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) and/or Certified Procedural Coder (CPC) Certified Outpatient Coder (COC) and ICD-10 proficient.

Total education, vocational training and experience:

Completion of classes in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS coding conventions, and disease process from an accredited program is required.

USD $25.00/Hr. USD $30.00/Hr.
