Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (SECURITY) as the Information Systems Department Head of COMMANDER, PATROL WING 10. Responsibilities You will exercise technical and administrative supervision over approximately five military and one civilian personnel in the IT departments to include daily operations, message distribution, job assignments and overall department management. You will perform staff functions and manage the Information Technology (IT) program for CPRW-10. You will be responsible for implementing and administering an Information Technology program at CPRW-10 in accordance with standards, procedures, and guidance for all subordinate commands, units and detachments. You will oversee procedures for establishing new, transferring, or removing user accounts. You will coordinate and assist commands with data migration as required. You will verify all classified network connections are protected in accordance with DOD (Department of Defense)/DON (Department Of Navy) policy. You will gather facts about the nature of work involved in user's area of application, the workflow, the processing of actions and the work product(s) You will coordinate the review and evaluation of command's IT programs, identifying current and potential problem areas. You will evaluate the impact of technological changes and conceive solutions to highly complex technical issues. You will investigate security violations that affect the integrity of classified/unclassified mission critical IT infrastructure. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing administrative guidance and security for the implementation or oversight of an Information Technology program for an aviation command or program.
