Description

We are looking for a skilled Paralegal to join our client's team on a part-time, contract basis in Barre, Massachusetts. This position involves providing vital support in areas such as real estate, probate, and estate planning while ensuring high-quality legal documentation and efficient case management. The ideal candidate will bring expertise, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and edit legal documents within Leap to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.

Conduct thorough preliminary legal research on matters related to real estate, probate, and estate planning.

Organize and maintain case files, ensuring they are current and adhere to firm policies.

Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary case information and provide updates.

Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless workflow and case progression.

Utilize legal practice management software, such as Leap, to streamline processes and maintain records.

Assist attorneys with administrative tasks related to case preparation and management.

Requirements - Demonstrated experience in real estate, probate, or estate planning; candidates with expertise in at least one of these areas are encouraged to apply.

Proficiency in drafting and editing legal documents with a high degree of accuracy.

Familiarity with Leap or similar legal practice management software is preferred but not required.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Capability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
