As a Cleared Armed Security Officer - DOD Facility in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .
As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a leading aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. This position requires you to be armed and to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is required. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for an armed post.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with attention to the unique requirements of an aerospace and defense location.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas, maintaining awareness of site-specific protocols for armed personnel.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client site procedures.
Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns and/or emergencies.
Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications for armed security-related duties at the location.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas.
Must have an active Department of Defense Clearance.
An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements for driving positions only.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
