We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering professional to join our team. In this role, you will develop, develop and improve manufacturing processes by studying products and manufacturing methods. Analyze product specifications to determine appropriate designs and processes that support our customer requirements. You would apply your skills to develop, test, modify, and create solutions through a collaborative effort with various teams.
What You Will Do:
Developing Manufacturing processes including assembly instructions, workflow/routing, labor standards, tool, machine programming and fixture designs.
Supporting daily manufacturing areas, process troubleshooting, incorporation of engineering changes, dispositioning non-conforming material with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation as required.
Driving Continuous Improvement impacting cycle time, reduce ergonomic risk to assemblers, automate, reduce costs (both direct and indirect) using lean manufacturing principles and data driven decision making.
Providing real-time technical support to manufacturers and fabricators; in-house as well as the supply base.
Tool/fixture development to drive ergonomics into processes, leading corrective action investigations to prevent recurrence.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer:
Excellent organizational skills with fine attention to detail
Knowledge and ability to apply CORE principles and techniques
Technical drawing interpretation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools and 3D printers' knowledge.
Demonstrated hands-on mechanical/electrical aptitude with the ability to work across disciplines.
Innovative mindset that drives continuous improvement and keeps pace with advances in technology.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Strong organization skills with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proven written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills in both Spanish and English.
Experience with SMT technologies, machinery and programming
Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PPT, Project, Word)
