Your responsibilities Position Summary: Operate lift trucks, overhead crane, hand trucks, manipulators, and all other material handling equipment to move material and finished parts throughout the various departments. Individual Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Maintains a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies in the workplace Perform duties to assist the Press Operator in making proper size billets Direct material handler in proper location of material on transfer table Place shovel of coal on billet when billet is sticking to die Use broom to sweep scale off platen. Use long tongs to place slugs in scrap barrel. Keep punches sorted by size Assist Press Operator in changing platens and dies and performing minor repairs and adjustments as required Relieves Press Operator, if required Ability to work in and develop a team atmosphere with co-workers Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Export Control: This position requires access to export-controlled technical data or technology. Employment is contingent upon thyssenkrupp's ability to obtain any required export authorization from the appropriate government agency or agencies Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanic parts.
