Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is a skilled member of the health team who provides medical and educational services to patients in collaboration with a licensed physician.

Growing primary care panel with robust referrals to specialists within the medical group. This role can be flexible with a 4 10hr or 5 8hr work week.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Minimum Required: Master's Degree in Nursing/Physician Assistant.

Preferred/Optional: None

EXPERIENCE

Minimum Required: None

Preferred/Optional: One to three years' nursing experience in specialty.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.

Minimum Required: Current State of Wisconsin Nurse License or Nurse Compact License, and Nurse Practitioner Licensure. Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire. Additional department-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required (varies by department/location).

Preferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.

Lakeland area population is approximately 10,000. Fun Fact: Minocqua is home to a 30' tall snowman in the winter called "Snowmy Kromer" due to the Stormy Kromer that is placed on top of his head!
