As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. By remaining visible and approachable, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. You will also be expected to deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with all individuals on site, and respond promptly to any security-related concerns. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related inquiries and directions.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the client site.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to established protocols.
Support emergency response activities as needed, following established procedures and coordinating with site personnel and Allied Universal management.

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
