IT Inventory Specialist (HIRING ASAP)

Description

Performs receiving of all incoming deliveries. Opens containers and compares packing slips against actual product and quantities received and notifies Purchasing of any discrepancies.

Performs work order picking and put-away duties as required to accurately issue materials while maintaining lot traceability. Understands barcode technology and uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting of all material movement. Reviews and signs process sheets for accuracy and correctness and completes all required documentation associated with assigned duties. Operates picking equipment as assigned. Performs and remains current on all assigned duties by reviewing current, revised, and new procedures relating to departmental SOP's and cGMP's. Maintains quality standards and promptly reports any non-compliance. Maintains a clean and organized work area during and at the end of each shift. Achieves environmental, health, and safety goals by working safely, observing and remaining current with all safety training. May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned

Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision.

Ability to use Microsoft Office and to @type using 10-key of at least 30 words per minute without looking at the keyboard Ability to follow verbal, written and detailed instructions. Ability to use basic math skills. Ability to read, write and comprehend English. Must be detail oriented as accuracy is very important.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
