Job Summary
This role is responsible for overseeing and supporting field operations in the Permian Basin Production department. This role requires a thorough understanding of operational procedures, construction management, and regulatory compliance within the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, ensuring that all assigned projects are executed efficiently, safely, and according to company standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and direct construction crews, assigning tasks to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety, quality, schedules, and budgets.
Oversee and coordinate all construction activities at project sites, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
Implement and enforce safety procedures, conduct tailgate safety meetings, and address hazards, while also training workers on proper construction methods and safety protocols.
Maintain the construction schedule, identify and resolve potential delays, and seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
Maintain positive relationships with contractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success.
Manage personnel and equipment resources to optimize project progress.
Assist with pre-project planning, including document preparation and material procurement.
Prepare scopes of work for construction projects, coordinate the bidding process with Supply Chain Management, and supervise pipeline CTB (central tank battery) construction, upgrades, and compressor station rebuilds.
Ensure wellsite construction adheres to all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Prepare daily progress and cost expenditure reports, review and approve invoices and billings associated with the scope of work and report all safety-related incidents while participating in investigations.

Required Qualifications
High school diploma (or GED).
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
Ability to read and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and effectively translate them into detailed construction plans, field execution strategies, or maintenance procedures to ensure accurate implementation and compliance with project specifications.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable MVR.
Ability to pass a respiratory fit test, if applicable to route/location.
An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Ability to stoop, stand, walk, pull, carry instruments, and climb stairs and ladders for an extended period of time.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
Ability to work overhead for extended periods of time.
Ability to perform fine manipulations with hands and fingers.
Capable of driving distances of 150 miles or more per day during all @types of weather conditions.
Ability to one arm carry up to 25lbs. without assistance.
Regular bending, crouching, pulling, and kneeling to check equipment and gauges.
Must be able to exert up to 50lbs. of force occasionally and up to 20lbs. frequently to move or manipulate objects.
Ability to work significant amounts of time as required in completing job responsibilities.
Working environment includes exposure to extremely loud noises in the field, hazardous chemicals, and hydrocarbons that may be under extreme pressure for which appropriate safety measures are required.
