Salary $59,911.38 - $95,085.82 Annually Job Type Grant - Full-time (benefit earning) Job Number 25CAO843RAM017 Closing Date 9/2/2025 11:59 PM Central Description The Hennepin County Attorney s Office (HCAO) is seeking a Senior Restorative Justice and Diversion Coordinator to work on the implementation of a Restorative Practices Initiative grant from the Minnesota Office of Restorative Practices in the criminal prosecution divisions. This position will further HCAO's commitment to restorative practices by supporting the development of a full-fledged Restorative Practices Division. This will include: building capacity around restorative practices within the HCAO; coordinating a restorative practices advisory committee; expanding the scope and reach of culturally relevant, community-based restorative services for people referred to HCAO; supporting the design and implementation of a new Restitution Fund; collaborating with legal system partners and community; and supporting reporting, monitoring, and evaluation activities to understand progress and impact. Location and hours: This position is hybrid and will be performed both on-site at the Hennepin County Government Center at 300 South Sixth Street, Minneapolis, MN 55487, and remote as job duties require. The typical work hours will be 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. While this position is designated as hybrid, based on current requirements hires must reside in or relocate to Minnesota or Wisconsin. About the position @type: This is a limited duration (temporary) full-time, grant-funded, benefit earning position expected to last up to two years with the possibility of extension. In this position, you will: Have direct contact with community members about diversion and restorative justice. Plan and lead internal and external discussions related to restorative practices within the criminal legal system. Develop basic project, program, and training requirements within the HCAO. Receive community input and identify resources in the community. Prepare and facilitate meetings, trainings, and presentations to core partners, internal staff, and the community. Write reports that include recommendations for a shift in programming in services, improvements, adjustments and supports needed for community providers; make recommendations based on review and analysis from reports. Support data gathering, interpretation, and analysis for grant evaluation and outcomes review. Support contracts with community providers related to diversion. Analyze public policy and recommend policy revisions.
