Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.

2 years of experience in backend and server-side programming.

2 years of experience with client-side web/app technologies and UI designs.

2 years of experience in Experiment Design.

2 years of experience in data analysis.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.

2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.

Experience developing accessible technologies.

Experience working on search stack (e.g., SuperRoot, MaRS, QRS).

Experience in one of the following programming: Kotlin/Java.

Ability to create interactive proto@types to explore, communicate, and iterate on complex design solutions.

In this role, you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities:

Write a product or system development code.

Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.

Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.

Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.

Work across the new Search stack, implementing prompting up through custom User Interface (UI), Work directly with Product Managers (PM) and User Experience (UX) on feature scoping and development, Analyze evaluations, metrics, and logs to identify areas of focus and future development.
