We are looking for an experienced Attorney to join a growing, dynamic legal team in Pasadena, California. This role involves managing a diverse caseload, with a focus on business litigation, judgment enforcement, and appellate work. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate exceptional legal writing skills, and be eager to contribute to a collegial and growing firm.

Responsibilities:

Oversee cases from initiation to resolution, including trial or arbitration.

Conduct extensive legal research and draft high-quality motions, briefs, and other legal documents.

Handle a mix of business litigation (40%), post-judgment enforcement (40%), and appellate matters (20%), with a potential emphasis on post-judgment work.

Prepare and respond to discovery requests, ensuring compliance with all procedural rules.

Take and defend depositions to gather critical case information.

Represent clients in court appearances, including hearings and trials.

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure thorough trial preparation and effective case strategy.

Stay updated on relevant legal precedents and industry developments to strengthen case outcomes.

Provide clear and timely communication with clients regarding case progress and strategies.

Requirements - Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation, including trial preparation and attendance.

Hold an active license to practice law in the state of California.

Demonstrate expertise in judgment enforcement, business litigation, and appellate work.

Exhibit strong legal research and writing skills, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Have experience in drafting motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.

Be proficient in managing discovery, including preparing and responding to discovery requests.

Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and colleagues.

Show a proven ability to handle complex litigation matters across various industries.
