You will be the Engineer for our dynamic team. Our team is responsible for supporting the conceptual and detail design of advanced hardware through the full product life cycle, utilizing dynamics and structural analysis.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Engineer, you will be responsible for applying your expertise in dynamic and structural analysis to drive the development of new aerospace products. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to plan, develop, and test innovative solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

-Applying research to develop and test new products

-Working with minimal direction to develop advanced technical principles and concepts

-Communicating technical status and issues to internal and external stakeholders

-Mentoring less experienced engineers

-Staying up-to-date on industry best practices and technological advancements

This position is in Grand Prairie, TX.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

Candidate must have an Active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
Professional experience, working specifically in a engineering role focused on Structural analysis.
Extensive modeling experience with related application software such as ANSA, Nastran, Abaqus, NX, FEMAP, Patran, and/or HyperMesh.

Desired Skills:

Extensive professional, hands-on experience providing structural analysis support for product.

Extensive knowledge in one or more of the following:
Stress Analysis
Modal analysis
Shock analysis
Vibration analysis correlation
Modal correlation

Ability to work with little direction and develop advanced technical principles, techniques and concepts.

Experience in hardware and development.

Demonstrated strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Mature computer skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
