Software Engineer,

Gartner Inc., Irving, TX.

Design, implement, and support of Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud to fulfill Sales and Service Delivery strategy. Perform hands-on solution design, proof-of-concepts and development and testing tasks in support of the implementation activities. Analyze the requirements and provide one or more options for the solution, utilizing Salesforce best practices. Work directly with a cross-functional SCRUM team to maintain and enhance SFDC Platform. Research and find opportunities to utilize SFDC best practices, guidelines to improve system productivity scaling and monitoring. Handle systems scope and projects objectives to design, build and test a robust system. Report issues and concerns to the project team to include development, project management, and QA. Support Incident and Problem Management with a strong emphasis on root cause resolution.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, and two (2) years of related work experience.

Must have two (2) years of experience with/in:

Working with the force.com platform, key SFDC design and architectural concepts, and SFDC CRM application;

Handling software project implementations related to Salesforce;

Integrating Salesforce with different system using Webservices (REST or SOAP) or middleware;

Overseeing deployment techniques and change management;

Managing software development and object-oriented design fundamentals;

Working on Salesforce development, code in APEX (classes, triggers, batch processes, and web services), Lightning, Salesforce APIs, SOQL, and Force.com;

Salesforce applications, Salesforce data model, custom objects, configuration, process builders, workflows, and database design; and,

Producing design applications that work within governor limits and scaling it.

Telecommuting permitted on a hybrid schedule as determined by the employer.
