Accounting Specialist

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job description: SERVPRO of Lake Geneva/Rock County is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers and a strong understanding of accounting to join our team! You must be proficient in core bookkeeping tasks like, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting with experience using QuickBooks Online. Primary Roles and Responsibilities for Accounts Payable Bookkeeping Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Create financial reports and perform analysis Monitor and maintain inventory and fixed assets Maintain tax, insurance, and compliance requirements Maintain vendors, resources, and subcontractors Cash Management Complete accounts payable activities Assist with accounts receivable activities Maintain petty cash fund Prepare and maintain cash management reports Ensuring that all transactions are coded correctly according to accounting and SERVPRO standards. Human Resource Administration Coordinate and administer payroll and benefits Provide HR administrative support Necessary Experience and Skill Set for Account Specialist A minimum two years of business experience Working knowledge of current business software technologies Superb customer service, administrative, and verbal and written communication skills 3+ year(s) of experience with QuickBooks Pro (most recent versions) 2+ years of experience with collection activities Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including proper pronunciation and grammar, and a consistently courteous and professional tone of voice at all times Polite, confident, and excellent customer service skills, including listening and questioning skills Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail Very self-motivated and goal-oriented Ability to multi-task Capability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel) Ability to learn new software, including Xactimate and proprietary software Experience in the commercial cleaning and restoration or insurance industry is desired Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law ** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Necessary Experience and Skill Set for Account Specialist A minimum two years of business experience Working knowledge of current business software technologies Superb customer service, administrative, and verbal and written communication skills 3+ year(s) of experience with QuickBooks Pro (most recent versions) 2+ years of experience with collection activities Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including proper pronunciation and grammar, and a consistently courteous and professional tone of voice at all times Polite, confident, and excellent customer service skills, including listening and questioning skills Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail Very self-motivated and goal-oriented Ability to multi-task Capability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel) Ability to learn new software, including Xactimate and proprietary software Experience in the commercial cleaning and restoration or insurance industry is desired Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law Formal Education/Training for Account Coordinator High school diploma/GED Associate degree in accounting preferred or strong professional background of 2-3 years bookkeeping experience ** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: cbrinkman@servpro2183.com
