Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST in the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. All Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) positions are in the excepted service. Responsibilities You will serve as a second-level or higher supervisor. You will work closely with special agents and intelligence professionals from multiple organizations. You will be responsible for all aspects of intelligence support to NCIS operational and investigative activity, including the fusion, dissemination and production of related intelligence activities. You will perform technical, administrative and management tasks that involve supervision of other subordinate managers or supervisors or direction of units, functions, or projects. You will be responsible for justification, direction, and allocation of resources (people, budget, material) across the organization through one or more levels of supervision and for setting organizational goals, objectives, and priorities. You will present, justify and defend the NCIS position on issues related to counterterrorism, counterintelligence and law enforcement intelligence matters, which impact the DON. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing intelligence expertise and support to criminal, cyber, counterintelligence (CI), or counter terrorism (CT) investigations and operations. Experience providing intelligence expertise and support to research development and acquisition (RDA), Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) involving the assessment of foreign intent and capability to sabotage, subvert, or exploit critical supply chains. Experience overseeing intelligence professionals to ensure relevance, timeliness, and accuracy of analytic products and outcomes. Experience developing and mentoring a workforce, including current and future supervisors. Experience executing organizational strategic guidance by setting program objectives, establishing milestones, and translating mission priorities into actionable analytic tasks for assigned employees. Experience communicating and coordinating across multiple platforms to ensure consistent messaging and outcomes affecting multiple units and organizations. Experience providing accurate, professional and comprehensive briefings to senior leadership. Experience building and maintaining collaborative liaison relationships with internal and external partners.
