Accounting Clerk- Part Time

RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for performing general accounting duties to support the business and its mission DUTIES: Items that are in bold @type are considered essential job functions in compliance with ADA. Create and maintain utility accounts list Ensure all utilities invoices are tracked and input into Bill.com Create and maintain a lease & real estate tax checklist & track payments Communicate any utility, lease, and real estate tax issues to Sr. Dir. Of Accounting Create and maintain recurring list of bills & ensure they are paid. Assist with Annual financial audit Assist with Accounts Payable inbox when requested Assist various functions within accounting department as necessary Organize the Accounting department's shared drive Follows accounting and financial operating procedures under policies, guidelines and supervision, assuring use of approved accounting procedures. Other duties as assigned. Physical Demands: · Mobility: Must be able to sit for extended periods while working at a desk or computer. · Lifting Requirements: May occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, typically for transporting files, documents, or office supplies. · Posture & Movements: Frequent use of computer and office equipment may require occasional bending, reaching, standing and walking. · Manual Dexterity: Regular use of hands and fingers for typing, handling documents, and operating office equipment. · Travel: Occasional travel may be required to attend training sessions, meetings and professional development as needed. · Vision Requirements: Must be able to read and interpret financial documents, reports, and spreadsheets and utilize computer monitors and accounting software with appropriate screen resolution. · Communication: Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills are essential for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Must also be able to deliver presentations, conduct and engage in meetings in person and virtually. Working Conditions: · This is a remote position, with occasional in-office hours and travel required to attend training sessions, audits, meetings, and professional development opportunities as needed. · Remote employees will provide, at their expense, a secure and dedicated work area to ensure confidentiality and focus during work hours. · The remote work environment is expected to be conducive to professional productivity, with access to a reliable internet connection and the necessary technology to perform job duties effectively. · Evening and weekend work may be required during busy periods such as financial reporting deadlines or audits. · Employees will have access to RGI's communication tools and systems for virtual meetings, collaboration, and document sharing. · Noise levels in the remote environment will vary but should remain conducive to productive work.
