Position OverviewUnited Health Services (UHS) is seeking an Activities Leader to join our team and help enhance the daily lives of our residents through engaging and meaningful activities. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and leading a variety of recreational programs that promote social interaction, mental stimulation, and physical activity.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is creative, energetic, and passionate about working with older adults in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to motivate and encourage participation, and a genuine interest in making a positive impact on the well-being of others.

Compensation Range:

$15.61 - $23.45 per hour, depending on experience

Job Responsibilities:

Practices special skills or talents with all levels of care and all populations

Integrates skills and theories into programs of activities; contributes to the development of activities in designated areas

Evaluates the residents' abilities and needs to provide an ongoing schedule of meaningful activities for each resident, including individual and independent activities

Participates in resident care planning and maintains up-to-date corresponding chart data, initial assessments, and other documentation for each resident

Accompanies residents on specified outings that may occur on days, evenings, or weekends

Provides activities participation data

Assists with inter-generational activities
