About the role:
This role supports the full Trade Marketing team by helping to organize, coordinate, and track the development and completion of commercial programs across all brands and Customer channels. The role also includes direct support for our smaller Whiskey brands within the portfolio, ensuring through-the-line activation and basic programming support with direct brand communication.
This is a highly cross-functional role that will touch all elements of program development, execution, tracking, and communication to the field. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and curious, with an interest in commercial marketing and brand-building.
Role Responsibilities:
Team & Project Support
Coordinate timelines and deliverables across CP&A, Shopper, eComm, and Selling Strategy teams.
Manage key calendars, templates, file organization, and field-facing tools.
Schedule and manage logistics for internal team meetings and cross-functional work sessions.
Supporting the full Customer Marketing team needs through initiatives as needed from the department SVP and LT.
Commercialization Bran dSu pport
Act as the day-to-day coordinator for several small-sized brands within the Whiskey portfolio. Direct responsibility of multiple brands, ex: Roe & Co, Seagram's 7, Blade and Bow.
Lead in briefing small-scale commercial programs, handling POS assets, and fielding brand-related questions from field/commercial partners.
Collaborate with the CP&A Director on brand activations and asset sharing.
Budget & Operations
Support budget tracking and PO management across teams (using CPS), in partnership with Finance and Procurement.
Work alongside CAT to ensure 100% compliant half and fiscal close for the Customer Marketing department.
Assist in Planning needs across AOP and A&P on an annual basis.
Help consolidate spend reporting, particularly for low-volume or emerging brand activity.
Communication & Tools
Upload and maintain program materials in DiageoNOW, DCH, and other shared tools.
Coordinate the Trade team's input into newsletters and national comms updates.
Lead onboarding process and resource distribution for new Trade Marketing hires.
Asset Support
Assist with digital asset routing, approvals, and communication for Trade and field use.
Track deployment of digital and POS tools for smaller brands or BTL-only campaigns.
Management of weekly call content uploading, accuracy and working alongside CMS team to co-own the agenda, from a content stand-point.
Experience / skills required:
Bachelor's degree required.
2-4 years of experience in a marketing, commercial, operations, orcoordinator role preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple timelines.
Strong stakeholder management skills and holding accountability among teams across the full Customer Marketing department
Comfortable navigating matrixed teams and working with both creative and commercial stakeholders.
Familiarity with Diageo systems (CPS, DCH, DiageoNOW) is a plus, but not required.
