General Summary:

The Regional Executive Assistant provides administrative support for the executive. This role requires good judgment, organizational skills and experience to plan and accomplish goals. This role also involves critical and creative thinking, which will enable the completion of all goals.

**Must reside in one of the following states: VA, WV, OH, MI, PA, MD, NJ, CT, MA, VT, NH or ME.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities**

Maintain executive's calendar and office schedule

Initiate follow up for status of various reports, projects, events and duties at the territory level

Organize meetings and events

Schedule conference calls

Compose memos and letters

Create power point presentations

Prepare and submit office/travel expenses for reimbursement

Make all appropriate travel arrangements

Order supplies and monitor/report budget variances

Serve as a mentor to Territory Executive Assistants

May perform other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications

The Regional Executive Assistant is the primary support for the VP, Sales

This position requires great organization skills; flexible-working patterns, the ability for constant change; good oral and written skills and the ability to problem solve. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook) is required.

Be able to travel as needed or to attend HO or Regional training

Must have a high school diploma plus three or more years of increasingly responsible experience as an Administrative Assistant.

The base salary range for applicants for this position is listed below. Unless actual salary is indicated above in the job description, actual pay will be based on skill, geographical location and experience.

$45,600.00-$86,200.00

Additionally, Unum offers a portfolio of benefits and rewards that are competitive and comprehensive including healthcare benefits (health, vision, dental), insurance benefits (short & long-term disability), performance-based incentive plans, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match up to 5% and an additional 4.5% contribution whether you contribute to the plan or not.
