POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our maintenance shop team. This position is responsible for diagnosing equipment malfunctions, completing preventive maintenance, and completing repairs for a variety of equipment in our construction fleet. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position. SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE We prioritize the safety and wellness of our road construction processes by following the Company s safety programs and policies, thus mitigating risk and improving overall productivity of the projects with safety at the forefront. Vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays available immediately. Position Requirements Must be at least 18 years old Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Experience in all phases of heavy construction equipment repair preferred. Physically able to perform the job functions including the ability to stand, squat, bend, lift, and walk for long durations. Able to communicate effectively. Ability to listen and take direction. Willingness to be a team player and help train less experienced employees. Compliance with all safety procedures, rules, and regulations. * Completion of additional position specific skills training as required.
