Position is responsible for overall leadership and direct supervision of the information technology infrastructure, service desk, cyber security, and support of business applications. This role is also responsible for team management, setting the group's policies and procedures as they relate to information technology. They are responsible for designing and delivering information technology strategies, including but not limited to infrastructure, service desk, applications development and delivery, enterprise and factory application support, smart factory integration, project management, communication and integration, reporting, and data and network and cyber security. This role is also responsible for developing and implementing practical solutions that streamline operational and functional processes and workflows using technology, combined with continual process improvement to enhance both the client (internal & external) experience and business results. They will use a consultative approach to identify technology-enabled improvement opportunities and to deliver them. They will influence and collaborate with internal business partners, vendors, and client executives, and effectively communicate with all relevant stakeholders. They will support the growth of the organization; build, lead, and inspire teams; and work as a collaborative team member to protect and to grow the business. Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with other members of the Executive Committee to help SkyWater Technology Foundry set and meet corporate goals, including the design of the strategy SkyWater will use to rapidly grow the company. Develop, recommend, and implement the company's strategy for Information Technology groups. Set company technical vision and leads the organization technological development. Drive a culture of continuous improvement to improve execution and remove roadblocks for teams. Translate business problems to technology solutions. Work effectively across the business to influence and create value. Supervise quality assurance processes, integration, configuration, implementation and system testing. Support IT network and infrastructure using internal and external resources. Establishes and maintains network security requirements for corporate protection and maximum uptime and performance. Influence and team up to setup IT organization's vision and strategy to promote a culture and mindset in line with SkyWater core values. Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop the IT roadmap that aligns with and supports the company's priorities and initiatives. Incorporate new and innovative use of technology and services to support the business strategy and roadmap. Ensure data integrity and security for all company IT assets and intellectual property, including business applications, productivity tools, network servers and communication systems, leads the implementation and monitoring of threat detection systems, and actively resolves current and emerging cyber security threats. Develop and drive metrics for success in IT department. Metric categories could include: technology spend/expense, project management & performance, ROI on IT investment, uptime - infrastructure & application systems; internal support responsiveness; asset utilization. Ensure provision of 24x7 support of the technology infrastructure. Attract and retain superior talent on the team. Maintain and update IT career ladders and ensure current job descriptions for each position. Facilitate an environment in which all employees are encouraged and supported so that they perform at their highest level. Oversee departmental performance management processes so that employees receive ongoing feedback and developmental coaching. Collaborate with the leaders, project managers and staff to maintain a culture that supports employee retention and satisfaction. Regularly assess the organizational structure of the teams and determine if the business needs are being met. Develop alternatives as needed, communicate, and implement them. Ensure employee and stakeholder satisfaction are being measured, performance maintained, and results communicated appropriately. Oversee and provide input into the annual operating plans, annual IT budget process and technical asset refresh strategies and related capital budgets. Track all capital and operating budgets. Ensure fiscal responsibility within all teams for area of responsibility. Collaborate with third parties to develop strategic vendor partnerships for areas of responsibility. Maintain relationships with strategic vendors inclusive of negotiating initial contracts to maximize service and minimize cost. Review contracts on a regular basis and renegotiate terms as needed to align with current requirements. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; Masters preferred 10+ years demonstrated IT or Manufacturing IT department leadership experience Extensive knowledge of the theory and practice of project management as evidenced by a track record of leading teams to on-time and on-budget performance despite concurrent projects and competing priorities Experience with government programs requiring specific cybersecurity protocols and security clearances. Experience partnering with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Human Resources, Finance and Accounting to drive cross-functional initiatives Demonstrated success working collaboratively with clients, internal teams, and external partners to urgently solve problems and deliver value Excellent organizational and follow-up skills Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to influence and inspire internal and external teams, peers and executives Accustomed to translating technology solutions to non-practitioners, inclusive of business value delivered Strong business acumen and ability to translate business strategy to operating/departmental plans Critical, strategic, creative and innovative thinking skills with sound judgment.
