Operating Room Scheduling Manager

The Operating Room Scheduling Manager provides functional direction and oversight of surgical scheduling in Perioperative Services, Endoscopy, and Interventional Procedures. Facilitates the integration and management of all scheduling processes bridging the office practices with surgical the Surgical Department to actively manage schedule maximizing access and efficiencies for patients and providers.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or BSN required.

3 to 5 years health care experience required.

Surgical Services and practice management experience is a plus.

Ability to effectively operate a variety of electronic medical systems as well as Microsoft Office and Excel.

Ability to effectively use the SVHC intranet to access and implement the policies and procedures.

Ability to work in a fast paced multi-tasking environment.

Ability to effectively prioritize a wide variety of simultaneous job functions with frequent interruptions.

Ability to work with constant interruptions and to prioritize urgent situations.

Must be able to professionally and courteously manage intense conflicts as they arise.

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.

Ability to display professional and courteous telephone, verbal, or electronic communication skills.
