Job Title: Facilities Access & Day Porter Assistant

Location: Bellevue/Everette, Washington

Type: Contract- 1 year with possible extension

Compensation: $19 - $28 hourly

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

System One is seeking a highly organized and service-oriented Facilities Access & Day Porter Assistant to support operations across our Bellevue and Everett offices. This role will ensure smooth, secure building access and maintain the quality and cleanliness of our front lobby, conference rooms, and common areas. As the first point of contact for vendors, visitors, and internal staff, you will play a key role in upholding the professionalism and security standards of System One.

Responsibilities:

Manage the front desk, greet and assist guests, and ensure adherence to System One's Facility Access and Security Procedures.

Provide building access control and assist with onboarding/offboarding, directing guests and vendors appropriately.

Support facility-related tasks via JIRA Service Desk, including general administrative support.

Assist meeting/event coordinators with logistics, catering delivery, setup, and cleanup of conference rooms.

Maintain, organize, and stock breakrooms, copy rooms, and other shared spaces.

Perform routine cleaning of appliances such as refrigerators, coffee machines, and microwaves.

Manage inventory and assist with supply and food ordering.

Receive, distribute, and ship mail, packages, and interoffice deliveries.

Help staff reserve desks using Maptician and assign float offices as needed.

Serve as part of the Emergency Response Team.

Conduct weekly, quarterly, and annual deep cleans of communal areas.

Travel between Bellevue and Everett offices as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

1-3 years of front desk/reception experience; high-volume environments (e.g., medical/dental offices) are a plus.

Strong customer service and hospitality focus.

Self-starter with an interest in taking on light administrative responsibilities and growing within the role.

Reliable and flexible to work within a 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM schedule as needed.

High school diploma required; AA degree preferred. Equivalent experience considered.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Familiarity with JIRA, Maptician, and Confluence is a plus.

Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and prioritization skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.

High integrity, trustworthiness, and a team-focused mindset.
