Data Center Facilities Technician

Our client, a leading provider in the technology sector, is seeking a Data Center Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Engineering and Maintenance department supporting the operations of a state-of-the-art data center. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to maintenance, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Center Facilities Technician

Location: Seattle, WA

Pay Range: $37/hr. - $41/hr.

What's the Job?

Perform daily inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering (M&E) systems and technical equipment.

Complete assigned work according to established processes and procedures while adhering to safety policies.

Oversee third-party vendors to ensure compliance with developed processes and applicable regulations.

Assist in creating and developing work processes, Job Hazard Analysis reports, and SOPs for critical tasks.

Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities and updates to logbooks.

What's Needed?

5+ years of commercial maintenance experience in mechanical or electrical fields.

Strong background in HVAC or electrical systems.

High School Diploma or GED required.

EPA 608 Universal Certification preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
